The Kindred Motorworks Chevy 3100 Pickup is the latest electric addition to the Kindred family. Starting life as a 1947 to 1953 Chevy 3100, the refurbished trucks are now finally available for pre-order through the Kindred Motorworks webpage. The price starts at $159,000. Production Begins in 2024.

The exterior of the truck is fully refurbished, and it comes with brand-new custom leather upholstery and an electric powertrain. A 74 kWh battery supplies a 294 horsepower Direct drive electric AC motor, eliminating the need for a traditional transmission. The battery is good for a 200-mile range, and it is hooked up to a 6.6 kW onboard charger with level 120V and 240V compatibility. According to Kindred, it takes nine hours to charge the battery pack on a level 2 plug fully.
The driveline has also been upgraded, and it features double-wishbone front suspension, rack and pinion steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and an electric parking brake.
The trucks are available in a handful of colors, but if you are in for an upgrade, you can also order yours with a custom color.
